As the 3rd Day of the week has shown their face upon the horizon, hopefully the sunrise is a sign of good things to come for you today. Plus it's Hump Day which should bring a glimmer of joy in some form to you.

For myself the week started off crazy and then Tuesday it just went straight into cruise mode. Not like Florida Georgia Line type of Cruisin'...wish I could roll my windows down on the job...but can't complain about a rather chill Tuesday at the offices.

Even enjoyed some chill time with a pal of mine; which involved a few brews, Vines and karaoke sing-a-longs. Yeah, Tuesday was something else haha.

Now let's see what Hump Day has in store shall we?

Allo Hello and Salutations and other forms of the word Hello! Hello! and Hello! It's been a few weeks since I was able to update the bloggity but it appears that I may have FINALLY gotten the green light to start writing up again.

Well it's more like the Yellow Light got stuck while I frantically reving my engine so that it will turn Green but you get the point..

Alas, I was feeling the effects of a pretty bad flu the past few weeks. Some days I felt like I was so healthy that I wanted to run an Ironman at the Big Apple and others day I just wanted to stab myself and rip the illness out of me with my bare hands. And of course this would happen when random snow storms of 6 inches, massive flooding rain storms of 2 minute terrors and life in general just decides to take some nitroglycerin and sprints like a mad-man.

Leaving me trying to keep up with a hacking cough during the race... 

Fortunately with the help of medicine and myself actually finding a way to rest more often than usual..which is a shock...I'm feeling WAY better. Not 100% though; more around 91% give or take but besides the occasional cough and gag fest, this guy feels grand considering that it is Monday.

Oh Monday...

Yes, this glamorous figure of the week rears it's beautiful face once again and yeesh...looks like it went a little too hard in the paint with all that mascara and those lips...only a face a mother would love. Possibly. Hey, I know it's the first day after the weekend...BTW: Hope Yours Was Awesome...but get out there and make Monday your bitch and not vise-versa. 

Today's Question: Are you going to be like the majority and complain, moan and whine just because it's "Monday" or are you going to own Monday and make it a great day anyway?

Ready. Set. Here We Go.

Feeling under the weather, but I'm still warmer than the weekly forecast.

Wondering what's in store so I can make a bigger blast.

The odds are stacked up to the roof but that doesn't matter.

That's just a bigger ceiling for me to shatter.

Sometimes you will get so close and then get kicked down a few pegs.

Your fingertips inches away from touching holy ground.

Then in a matter of seconds, you fall back and proceed to go downward.

Talking to yourself "Why?? I was so close?!?!"

"Maybe I should just give it up."

"Fuck it. I'm done."

"I can't do it."

Take those thoughts and bottle them up into a glass.

Now proceed to take a shotty and give it a blast.

 You were so close and now...you're just gonna give up?

No. Get to your feet and work on another come-up.

Work towards making yourself happy.

Sometimes the rug will be pulled from underneath you.

Don't sit there and sulk on what could have been.

When one door closes, another one is awaiting to be opened.
