It's amazing what's circulating in your brain when you listen to it.
As I sit on my bed looking on to my laptop screen as it brightens up the walls of my room, I suddenly just stopped doing what I was doing at the time. I went into my drawer and pulled out my headphones; plugged them into my laptop, opened iTunes, clicked my electronica playlist, and pressed Enter.
I then dimmed the lights, kicked back on my bed, and just starred at the ceiling while the music continued to roll into my eardrums taking me to a far away place of inner thoughts.
I love having moments like this.
From my quality conversation between me and the inner workings of my cranium I had this thought: In order to achieve, you must believe. What I mean by this is that in order for something to become a reality you have to believe that it can come true. That is true when it comes to making goals, processes, achievements, or anything. It requires belief.
In this day and age, society has gone through a lot of hardships. Striving for the best is never always an easy task; it takes work, dedication, and confidence in self in order to turn all of that into a reward. Some people have lost that strive and are in desperate state to get it back within their grasps. Others don't believe they can do anything nor will become nothing in this world.
I say to those people...believe.
Believe that you can make a difference. Believe that you can be the change in the world that people can look upon and be inspired to be. Believe that whatever goals or dreams that you have can become real if you work your ass off hard enough.
Life can be a rough son of a bitch at times but it can also be your best friend. We learn everyday about ourselves from the people and situations we associate ourselves with. Don't quit on yourself when the waters seem to be getting a bit rocky. Don't tap out when you are forced to submit after something didn't go your way.
You are who you are. And nothing can change that belief.
In order to achieve, you must believe.
You can't run from the person that in your heart that you were born to be.
