Breath-taking huh? Well so can you.

Allo Hello! Welcome to another Monday! 95% of you will be responding with one of the following options...ugghhhh! crap... whhhyyy?!?!? is it Friday yet?? or something else user friendly...

As for this guy, he is pumped for another week of thrills and spills. Especially after an incredible weekend of surrounding myself with friends, lol moments, and grand times. It seemed like each day of my weekend instantly got better and better and...wait for it...better!

What did I partake in? Well nothing like going on vacation to Barbados or anything...
(actually, that's not a bad idea. Gotta write that one down)

Nah, just hung out with pals and gals all weekend causing some laughter, played a few games, had some beverages that made me feel all sorts of fantastic. Hell, even went to DC for a day and watched a DC United game in RFK with a couple of buddies; picked a great day to ride the Metro up to the stadium to watch some futbol. Vamos United!!

Alas, Monday was just around the corner and now has all of sudden jumped into my face. I'm ready for it. Hope you guys are as well. You can accomplish whatever it is that you have as your goals this week...just got to stay dedicated and keep moving forward.

Go grab that cup of joe and get started!
Might have to add 3 scoops of sugar since it is Monday after all... :)

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Never Forget.

Can't believe it has been 11 years since September 11, 2001.

On this day we remember those people who had their lives taken away due to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington DC.  This was one of the darkest days in American History.

Lives lost, lives injured, lives damaged.

However, as a Nation we stood up together even after something as devastating as this and picked up the pieces. Firefighters, police officers, military soldiers, and volunteers went through the wreckage to look for and assist survivors.  We will not stand there and moan forever. We must continue to move forward.

And by God we did just that.

So on this day my condolences and well wishes to those that lost their lives on this dark day in American History. My well wishes goes to the families and friends of victims that lost someone that they love dearly.

I am damn proud to be an American and the tremendous courage and heart shown by our citizens on this hellacious day is one of the reasons.

God Bless America.

Baby Steps (On Tap 81)

Keep walking. Hell, sprint if you are capable. Just don't stop.

What a weekend for this guy haha. Been stuck in the office for a majority of it but hey you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.  Outside the office I was...well sleeping for one. Along with some extracurricular activities to keep my mind and body from falling off the edge.

After watching the sunrise onto the city, I realized that a new adventure is about to begin.

One thing I learned is that in this life of ours is that you can never be stationary for very long; you must keep movin' and groovin' in some direction. Whether it's forward, backward, or side to side is completely up to you.  Now I'm known by friends as being one of the rare forms of humans with an unlimited amount of energy; it really does depend on the day though...sometimes I have 80% while others, about 350% on the energy level scale.

Movement is a vital part of our lives. Sometimes you will trip and fall backwards off the steps a bit but you will be able to recover once you rise back on your feet.  Other days you will be like Usain Bolt and sprint up those steps like it's nothing.  However, staying still on the step is not what you want to do. You should strive to move to the next step whenever it's possible or when you find an opportunity to strike.

As long as you keep moving, your doing something...

So this week take yourself to the next step. Enjoy working at your job, keep up with your lessons at school, hang out with friends, have a cup of joe with family, do something worth while that will help you move your feet up a step and not fall down three.

Enjoy your new week of adventure. Watch your step.

81...!

We all take steps, no matter what we do.
Some of us take big ones and others take small.
What's important is that we do take 'em
And never stand still,
Because that is dangerous.

Extra shoutout to LadyRapid for the phenomenal pic (and to his many others!)

Believe in Me.

It's amazing what's circulating in your brain when you listen to it.

As I sit on my bed looking on to my laptop screen as it brightens up the walls of my room, I suddenly just stopped doing what I was doing at the time. I went into my drawer and pulled out my headphones; plugged them into my laptop, opened iTunes, clicked my electronica playlist, and pressed Enter.

I then dimmed the lights, kicked back on my bed, and just starred at the ceiling while the music continued to roll into my eardrums taking me to a far away place of inner thoughts.

I love having moments like this.

From my quality conversation between me and the inner workings of my cranium I had this thought: In order to achieve, you must believe.  What I mean by this is that in order for something to become a reality you have to believe that it can come true. That is true when it comes to making goals, processes, achievements, or anything. It requires belief.

In this day and age, society has gone through a lot of hardships. Striving for the best is never always an easy task; it takes work, dedication, and confidence in self in order to turn all of that into a reward.  Some people have lost that strive and are in desperate state to get it back within their grasps. Others don't believe they can do anything nor will become nothing in this world.

I say to those people...believe.

Believe that you can make a difference. Believe that you can be the change in the world that people can look upon and be inspired to be. Believe that whatever goals or dreams that you have can become real if you work your ass off hard enough.

Life can be a rough son of a bitch at times but it can also be your best friend. We learn everyday about ourselves from the people and situations we associate ourselves with.  Don't quit on yourself when the waters seem to be getting a bit rocky. Don't tap out when you are forced to submit after something didn't go your way.

You are who you are. And nothing can change that belief.

In order to achieve, you must believe.

You can't run from the person that in your heart that you were born to be.

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Monday Sirs and Madams!

And since today is a holiday, this should make 95% of the people's Monday that much better.  The other 5% will probably still piss and moan due to the fact that it is still Monday.  Anyways...today we celebrate Labor Day which is a federal holiday here in the States that celebrate the working man and woman.

With our economy still in the workings to get back to fighting shape, it has been a struggle for workers and for those even looking for employment.  For those still looking to hear those 2 words..."You're Hired"...don't give up. Keep looking and applying for jobs, you will be able to find one. I know how hard the job search is and it does get frustrating when you keep looking, fixing and redoing your resumes, and have to keep pressing your suits.

Your dream job might be temporarily unavailable but don't let that discourage your efforts.  If you want to work towards that goal, gotta find some sort of employment that could help boost your resume, experience, and XP level.

Wait a minute...

If you don't know exactly what you want to do or where you even want to work, do your homework.  That goes for the kids fortunate to go to college and those writing resumes with their degrees; research is key.  You can find employment that you will enjoy and pay you decent wages along with bonuses.

Mmmm...bonuses.

I'm fortunate to have a job and as an extra bonus is having one that I thoroughly enjoy doing; I'm really lucky for that blessing.

To all the workers here in the good ol' USA, I wish you all a Happy Labor Day!

Now I got to get the creases out of my uniform before heading to the office...

Love Yo Face.
Enjoy the Day!
