A Motivational Alternative

Inner Strength

Stress is in your past.
Stress is in your present.
Stress is in your future.

It takes a weak man to give up before the race is even started.
It takes a strong man to rise to his feet and accept the challenge.

Don't give in.
Go All In.

A Month And A Day

31 Days and Counting...
The last time I enjoyed one of those glasses: January 19th

Its been quite a journey thus far ever since that day and I can say honestly that I'm glad that I made the decision to take a booze vacation. At first it was pretty tough first couple of days since I was basically around bars, friends, and good times but I held my own and enjoyed my cup Pepsi, water, or whichever non-alcoholic beverage I ordered.

Physically I feel like I can conquer a small village. Went back to working out on a regular schedule and now I have more energy than I ever had recently. Along with adding about 10 pounds of muscle as an extra bonus.

Mentally from what people have told me I am less angry and sharper when it comes to thinking. I also have more confidence in myself and not afraid to speak my mind. Now granted I was this way while I enjoyed the occasional beverage; apparently that skilled leveled up without that power-up so to speak haha.

But yeah! 31 Days Down and the journey continues.

No Booze Til' March.

Hump To The Max!

So Simple. Yet So Difficult Right? WRONG!
There shall be no sadness when it comes to Hump Day!

What Limits? (On Tap 92)

Well...this has been an entertaining last few days. Oh right...hello boys and girls and welcome to a new week of adventure, thrills & spills, and shiny objects!

No Booze, No Problems.

Decided to give up drinking until sometime in March and it's been a little more than 3 weeks since my last glass of an adult beverage going down my esophagus and traveled down to my stomach which then lead me to be all sorts of happy, jumpy, and other energetic words. How am I feeling currently? Terrific! Which is weird... What I mean by that possibly confusing statement is that I currently feel like I'm in a Zen Mode; at least that's what my girlfriend said...But I feel less angry, irritated, and drained than I did prior the previous few weeks since I started this little experiment. Even got my weight back up, focusing more on myself, and feeling more in tune with my body. Not complaining...especially since my wallet has a little extra change in it.

So How About That Power Outage...I Mean Super Bowl?

The National Throwball League also known as the NFL celebrated it's biggest day of the year in the form of a 34 minute power outage! Also there was a game being played between the 49ers and Ravens as an extra bonus. I think the power switch was mostly due to Beyonce's awesome halftime special performance which must has costs millions or the fact that Kanye West wasn't invited to the stage...who knows. At the end of the night, the Baltimore Ravens were able to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy and claim themselves once again as the undisputed national throwball champions of world! And Ray Lewis ends his career on top...unless he pulls a Brett Favre. Will the Bionic Man return to defend his title? Place bets now!

Surpass Your "Limits"

Limits are meant to be broken; in fact, they get broken on the daily basis. The human body is amazing specimen (or speciwoman if that is an actually word...) capable of doing some amazing things. When someone reaches their limit, the body is put to a test. Will it crack under the pressure and just give in or will it somehow against all odds leap over the barrier? That's a question for you.

Do you think that you will crack and give in to the demands of the day and be unhappy with whatever it is that you do? Or...will you look at your objectives, complete what you can with a smile on your face while also bettering yourself in the process?

Do what you have to do to make yourself better and if you find yourself at your breaking point at this time, think of ways you can leap over or go through it like a freight train on acid running over everything and anything...that sounds like an interesting picture that I want to see in real life honestly...

Anywho, have a great Monday and week folks! Ttyl!
