Lyrical Spiritual 11!

Rise and Shine! Friday Is Upon The Horizon!

Scrolling through notes, charts, and computer screens.
While the beats of today are booming in theme.
Everything seems to be molding into place,
And that grin is increasing too.
As you rip a new day of the calendar...
(Rips) It's Friday. Who knew?!?!!

Friday has arrived!
Cool kids call it an "instant win".
Some say "TGIF!"
Others just call it by her proper name.
Whatever language or word combo you use...
Yell it loud and rejoice!
For today is a great day to lift your voice!

Tis' be the day that we have prayed to come,
We've clawed through the gauntlet,
Ran through obstacle courses,
Scurried through unknown waters,
Even got our hands dirty climbing some rough terrain.
The forecast may have thrown some heavy rain.
Some suffered downpour all week.
On this day, we shall not weep.
Cause it's Friday...weeping is for the weak.

No on this day, it calls for celebration.
From TD celebrations in the college endzone,
To the 5:00 clock-out moonwalks.
It's time for the weekly party to kick-off,
Just in time for prime-time.

Here's to another beautiful Friday.
Now quick. Throw me a lime.

Cheers!

The Daily: A Winning Attitude.

Only a few more hours until Cheers! time...Hang In There!
Allo Hello guys and gals of the interwebs. Welcome to Thursday; because unfortunately Hump Day can't last forever. Anywho...this version of the Daily will be discussing about something that is a key to everyone's existence in a sense: attitude.

You ever been around a room full of people and their attitude flat-out sucks? Have one of your friends tried to infect you with their rotting attitude due to an unfortunate circumstance? Has life in general basically giving you the finger in attempts to make you frown upside down?

All of these are rhetorical questions because I'm confident that we all can answer yes to all the above. I'm not a fan of altered attitude that spit out hell-fire and brimstone; yes there are some days in our lives that something doesn't goes right or a catastrophe happens and we are bit salty for a chunk of time.

That's understandable.

However, walking around this 3rd rock with an attitude that came straight out from the depths of hell, treating others like salty garbage when all they did was say Hello along with just being basically a shitty person...is not okay.

Shape up the attitude and you in a sense shape up your foundation and work rate; you have lifting spirit, you're gonna work hard and rep better rewards for yourself. A down in the dumps attitude will lead you going as far down like the stock market on Wall St crashing down with no recession money helping you.

Today, when things go south just take a step back, shake it off, and get back to being you; don't let the electrons infect your protons with negative charges. Whatever you think and how your attitude is shaped up basically shows what your about.

Do you want to be a winner or a loser?
Then have a winning attitude.

"Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you're going to live your life."

I'm Back! (And I Brought Quotes!)

Deli is Happy...and why not?? It's Hump Day!!
Allo Hello people of the interwebs! It is Wednesday aka the 3rd day from the sun aka the middle of the barrel aka Hump Day!!!

Whoop! Whoop!

Haven't written on the blog here in a few days...don't worry I found my way back. Thank the holy one for a favorites tab on Google Chrome...anywho...things are looking up for myself in the past couple of days. Did surprisingly well on my mid-term exam (200 questions...really?!?) along with spending some down time relaxing, working out here and there, and hitting the soccer field. So yeah...current mood = excellente.

Hopefully everything on your side of the Earth is going smoothly. After all, Hump Day should bring a smile to all of your cute faces. Ahh...I see that grin on your face! Don't hide it! Let it Shine Shine Shine!

Plans for the rest of the week...keep working hard, be aware of opportunities to better one self, and above all else...just have some fun. Don't overlook all the stuff that you have to get accomplished before week's end and zone out on just taking a few steps back and doing something that's not work related as entertaining. Put down the stapler and keyboard and pickup a controller, a basketball, a golf club, a guitar...something!!!

Now then if you excuse me...I got to find something to wear before strolling into the inner workings of the city. Also need to fix this bed hair...or lack there of...

And now...Quote Times Tres!

Viva La Hump Day!
(Kazie's Daily Musical: "Headlines" by Drake)

Lyrical Spiritual 10.

Congrats. You've Made It Home.
You have done well.
Just a couple of meters away.
The finish is on your radar.
Yet your current pace? Go faster.

The music gets turned up a bit,
The cheers are louder,
Faster.
So close...

The incline is getting unbearable.
Keep pushing.
Everything is starting to shut-down.
Keep moving.

You don't want to get this far
And press quit with the finish moment away.
Especially with the party zone,
Mixed with refreshments awaiting your stay.

I can see the checkered flag,
Finish strong, use that core.
It's creeping closer...
Push.
Closer..
PUSH!

The tape breaks,
The confetti is let loose.
Fireworks have lighten up the day.

Congrats my friends.
You have made it to Friday.

Cheers!

The Daily: The Weatherman.

It's Gonna Rain!!! Thanks Ollie...
Ahh the weather forecast. Sometimes it has sunshine, other times it brings heavy rains to your front door.

One of my good co-workers and I started chatting during the busy workday morning about motivational type stuff. He brought up a rather interesting statement that he lives by during our conversation...

Be Your Own Weatherman.

At first I was a tad confused by the saying as I'm assuming most of you are as you continue reading this post. Fortunately, he explained it further and it made perfect sense; you have the control over what your forecast looks like during the day. Not as in you have the power to control the actually weather (unless you're Mother Nature and if that's the case...bring me some sunrays!!!)

What I mean is that you control your own forecast as to what you show and do out in the world. If your forecast sucks, then no matter what you do you're gonna have heavy rains everywhere you go; might want to stay away from electrical equipment that day. You're angry, grumpy, irritated and that leads your forecast to have some thundering booms that could throw a few lightning strikes on your path to really guide you off-course.

Yet you can make your forecast look bright and sunny with a good attitude, a hard working etiquette, and keep pushing yourself towards your dreams and goals. Yes, there will be some days on filled with floods, tornadoes, acid rain, and all other sorts of natural disasters that try to ruin your 7 day forecast. That doesn't mean the weather will always stay rocky like that unless you let it because you have the power, no one else.

So what does your forecast look like this week?
Got clear blue skies today or are you saving that for the weekend?

Whatever the weather is, make sure it's something you can work with.

Be Your Own Weatherman.

Love Yo Face. Enjoy Thursday.

"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine."
