There maybe a shed of light on hip hop.
Hip hop as a music genre has had phenomenal highs back in the day for it's unreal lyrics, monstrous bass, and gritty attitude from it's golden years.
Recently it's been basically S.O.S. (same old shh..) and people such as myself that loved hip hop to the deaths was looking elsewhere genre-wise since hip hop wasn't fresh in this new generation.
The majority of new "rappers" in the game usually are one hit wonders and that's it. They mostly rap about the same thing over and over and over again and leaving a sour taste in their mouths while leaving me with a burning eardrum in desperation of cleaning out all the B.S. that entered into it.
Walking on the clouds, suspended in thin air,
Do ones beneath me recognise the red bottoms I wear.
One of those of artists is DJ Khaled.
DJ Khaled is one of my favorite DJs not just because he creates great music but he settles on nothing but the best when it comes to music. If it doesn't sound great, he doesn't send it out. He worked hard as an up-and-coming DJ coming out of Dade County into become one of the most respected names in hip hop today. And with the assists of artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, T-Pain, Birdman, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross....it's no wonder that he strives for perfection.
Now for the MotiTune...I'm On One.
Ohhh, I’m about to go Andre the Giant.
You a sell out, but I aint buying.
I like this song since the beat is well done and not crazy on the bass but still sounds well produced. Plus, the lyrics by Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross are very vocal. They spit about hustling to the top, working hard, and celebrating when you've reached the top. It's clear that in order to have success according to them, you have to put in the work. Hence why when they get back to work they still smell like a vacation.
Another hit by DJ Khaled. After all...they are the best. Take a Listen.
