The Daily: The Soccer Gauntlet

Did A Lot of This Yesterday.
Allo Hello people of the interwebs! Hopefully your new week of objectives has started off on the good foot as we get underway. I had this really good post in the workings for Monday but for some reason the Blogger app just decided to sleep on me uploading it. Grrr...it's okay...I'll just save it for another day.

Speaking of a day, Monday was definitely a day to say the least on the pitch. I was scheduled for two soccer league matches that night which turned into four. Consecutive matches. Was not scheduled for this change of events but hey this can't go bad right???

Yeah about that...

Things didn't go bad as in I injured myself thankfully but man-oh-man! running this soccer gauntlet definitely has it's affects when I woke up this morning. Fortunately my main match playing as goalkeeper went well as we forced a draw in a very physical match-up. The next two games after we were able to get two straight wins which showed I had the hot hands in goal on the night. The final match of the night I actually played on the field and somehow found the back of the net after a great assist.

Extra Bonus: I scored on one of my good friends/teammate which of course we had a pretty funny discussion once the whistle blew haha.

I have no idea what possessed me in goal but I seriously need to research it and probably make a clone of it so I can have those kind of performances weekly haha. Sometimes you just got to mentally get into a zone and just do your thing; clearly that worked out with some pretty incredible results Monday night.

Anywho, besides my lower body feeling completely useless Monday was a pretty good day. Thank the Baby Jesus I do not have work this morning or the struggle would definitely had been real.

Now to enjoy Tuesday. Highly recommend you do the same.

Today's Question: Can you go the distance to get what you set out to get?

"The favorite may have won the match on paper but that's why you play the game because the underdog just may be scrappy enough to pull off the upset against all odds."
