Check out Alexiuss stuff. It's Epic. Truly Epic. |
You handle your own when you become a man
And become a man when you handle your own
Ain't much I can do, but I do what I can
But what can I do if I do till it's gone?
The chorus from the slums of Gadsden is rotting my brain.
With it's grim Southern Halloween melody yet truthful lyrics.
Don't worry. The link will be near the end so that you can hear it.
As always on a Friday, let's get this Spiritual started.
Bystanders and scalawags strolling down the streets with "swag".
Fool's gold with the thought of that in life this is all I need to have.
Let me grab this rusty shovel and dig that thought from out your stem.
In order to reign, you need to have more than "swag" at the realm.
I'm not some monk preaching the good stuff to get you turnt up.
I'm not a professor with all the answers to all of your complex problems.
I'm not the boy of your dreams, I'm not the needle that patches your seams.
I'm just someone searching for the key to unlock my puzzling dreams.
The tool is somewhere out there in society.
Somewhere in the ocean of nuts, hoes, bolts and screws.
In all that heap of junk lies hidden gems under the muck.
Yet people don't want to get their hands dirty. Others hoping to find them via beginner's luck.
You crave that answer to your problem solving equation?
Well I'm not a mad scientist creating a potion to blow your problems up in proportion.
In order to get things done, the source or power is within you.
Nothing beyond the norm will get you picked on. Maybe even shunned.
But who cares...as long as your having fun.
This is real.
I'm not mad. Actually I'm happier than I've ever been.
Because I figured how to take the scissors and cut from within.
All the doubt and negativity has been sliced and diced.
The garden isn't complete but the new trimming has made everything bright.
What that mean Kazie?
It means that I've shipped unwanted baggage via Southwest.
Now I can fly in coach with a smile out West.
While sitting near the window figuring out this last question to pass my next test.
In order to be successful, what obstacles must I conquer next?
Cheers!
