Fear came to my house years ago. I let ‘em in.
Maybe that’s the problem
Cause I’ve been dealing with this ever since.
I thought that he would leave, but it’s obvious he never
did.
He must have picked the room and got comfortable and settled
in.
Now I’m in the position it’s either sit here and let him win
Or put him back outside where he came from, but I never can.
Cause in order to do that I’d have to open the doors.
Is that me or the fear talking?
I don’t know anymore.
“My mind is a home I’m trapped in”
Locked inside closed doors built from within.
Physically built as a dream-chaser
But mentally chained down to Earth.
Pleading and begging for the world to give him a shot.
Yet here he lays motionless as he awaits the shot.
For fear has paralyzed that man from chasing his dream,
Instead of reigning supreme, all he wants to is scream!
Self-punching into an internal submission,
Realizing that this fear sideswiped him from the mission.
As Three Days Grace states: “It’s Never Too Late.”
So Conquer that Fear or let him continue to boggle your
state.
Motivated by NF and put my own purple spin on it haha.
Seriously: Don't Let Fear Control Your Destiny.
Go For Everything and Regret Nothing as you work towards a better you and an even better future.
Don't lock yourself in behind closed doors, unlock yourself and show-off on your world tour.
