It's a-coming...
What a weekend. And now a wild hurricane appeared!
Been a grand weekend for myself. One...it was Halloween weekend so I had an excuse to dress up, head to a few parties, and dance the night away along with enjoy some Halloween mist in my cup. Along with watching DC United grab 2nd place for the MLS Playoffs, watching college football, and other activities...my Sunday was spent resting on the couch trying to recover from all the epicness.
Still don't feel like moving...
Alas, the new week is here and the folks here in RVA along with myself are in for a doozy thanks to Hurricane Sandy making it's way here shortly. Evacuations have already been sent out, people grabbing all the water they can find at WalMart, and of course...hurricane parties! Can't have a natural disaster without that huh?
In all seriousness, Sandy seems to be a Category 2 Hurricane but more than likely downgrade to Category 1 as it it moves up the East Coast towards North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Hopefully everyone is ready for this event. Looks like everyone is taking it seriously seeing that all the schools have been shut down today...even VCU is closed.
Wha??? Shocker I know...
Other than that...besides Sandy trying to get sand and a lot of dirty water all over your Monday, today will hopefully not be as bad the weathermen are predicting. If you have the day off...first off, lucky you! Secondly, stay safe out there and enjoy your day indoors!
Don't let Sandy come in, she will tear your place up!
Enjoy Your Monday!

It is better to meet danger than to wait for it. He that is on a lee shore, and foresees a hurricane, stands out to sea and encounters a storm to avoid a shipwreck.
