A Motivational Alternative

Vamos. (On Tap 85)

Almost time to make it happen.

I. Am. Exhausted. But. I. Feel. Great.

It was one hell of a weekend for yours truly. Got some of my objectives out of the way that needed to be done while also enjoying myself here and there. Checked out the River City Roller Girls here in RVA with a few of my pals and I gotta say that I was very entertained with all the hard hitting, juke moves, and competitiveness during the jam session. Plus the ladies along with their uniforms and interesting nicknames were also easy on the eye too lol. Made me even want to grab a pair of blades and join a men’s or co-ed league…not even kidding.

Figuring out a nickname right about now...

Also saw a lot of sporting events over the weekend. Biggest one for me was seeing D.C. United win in DC to clinch a playoff spot; first trip to the playoffs since 2007. VAMOS! That and saw some college football along with chillin' in numerous sitting positions…so that was also a thing.

All and all, enjoyed my weekend a lot. Hung out with some cool people, tried out some new things, and just kept being my crazy goofy self. Now that another week has come to the platetime to wind up, make sure my battery is charged, and spring out of the gates!

One thing people need to know is the power of patience. Learning to breathe and take things one at a time is shockingly a skill not learned by everyone. Shocking I know… If you have too much on your plate and looking to add more to it, probably not a good idea because all that will lead you to getting a heart attack.

And I’m pretty sure you don’t want that off the menu.

Relax, breathe, and attack things one at a time. Also, have some fun this week! Don’t stay wrapped up in your cubicle all day like a hypnotized drone.

Enjoy Your Monday!
