The Daily: A Friendly Rant.

You're going to go through trials and tribulations.

You're going to be fucked over, shitted on, stabbed in the back.

You're gonna have the difficulty set to nightmare when you just set out to learn the game.

Things out in the world will hurt you, scar you and maim your sanctuary.

There are gonna be times where it seems life is not fair and is just stomping a mud hole in you reportedly.

But fret not. For there will be days where everything seems to be an absolute joy. Where even though things are getting hairy, it's not the end of the world as you know it.

What you must not do is give up. Not now, Not ever.

All the scenarios and problem-solving answers have not been found nor will all of them ever be solved. However, that doesn't mean you should just sulk into your feelings onto the notepad because you can't figure it out.

Nah...life is beautiful struggle. The struggle where man can literally go from having nothing to gaining nearly everything. You know why? The struggle made him humble. The hustle made him smarter. The world made him unstoppable.

This world we live in is the land of opportunity. Literally. There are thousands upon thousands of opportunists awaiting to click Accept upon finding the opportunity that's right for them.

What are you going to do today to further polish your legacy once your final day has come?
What can you do today to better oneself for the greater good?

Don't just sit there and lick your wounds while awaiting the next batch of latches that life brings.

Patch Up and Step Up.
Life isn't gonna stop and neither should you.

Rant Over.

Hump Here, Hump Now.

Allo Hello! Wednesday is already in a humpful mood and so should you. After all today is Hump Day!

Whoop! Whoop!

Coming out of the gates on this rather chill edition of Hump Day weather-wise I'm feeling pretty good. After a lite workout and a shootaround on the court at the gym, physically I'm closer to 100% thankfully. Now if only my nose would stop running so much like the 100 yard snot dash...

Mentally at the moment things are kind of hectic in my mind. That's because I'm on the clock and everything is going off the hook; no worries. Just gotta get things done and keep hydrated with all this running around. Morning Cardio: It's What's For Breakfast.

And that would be another page...gotta go go GO!

Have A Humpful Wednesday and please Hump Responsibly and Often.

Not Feeling 100 But Keeping It 100. (On Tap 155)

Allo Hello people on the 3rd Rock from the Sun! It's Monday and you know what that means! Time for a new 7 day period of conquering to begin.

At the starting gate today for this week's marathon, I'm not 100% there physically. Not because of the alarm blaring heavily from my phone this morning; actually I feel pretty rested after 5 hours of sleep. Mainly due to a lower body strain that is seeming to get better but still a pain in my ass.

Literally.

Not sure as to what the cause is or just overexhausted myself to the point that a good rest period is strongly recommended. Probably Option B...yeah yoga posses, stretches and the sauna sounds like a gameplan throughout the week haha.

Mentally though I'm feeling A-OK! Came through some stressful situations on the job and the streets with a grin on my face and my body still attached. Even managed to watch some March Madness and sing some karaoke and enjoy a Heineken over the weekend. Cheers to the weekend indeed.

With Monday here and awaiting me to Press Start, I feel decent. Not in running type shape although I'm getting back to 100%. The only 100% I can give is in my efforts whether it be in the office, in the gym or even on the couch haha. You can't give 100% everyday; it's physically impossible. However that's no excuse for not trying 100% in whatever it is that you do.

And that's keeping it 100.
Believe That!

Have A Great Start To Your 7 Days.

St. Hump Day!

Hopefully the Leprechaun lead you to the Green Beer Promise Land!
Allo Hello Peoples! Hump Day is here and hopefully you don't have a green hangover after all those green beverages you consumed yesterday.

Whoop! Whoop!!

Apologies if that was a tad too loud for you; take an aspirin and clean yourself up. Anywho, St. Patty's Day was yesterday and the temperature was in excitement with it being well over outdoor party atmosphere weather-wise. Didn't partake that much into the festivities since it was on a Tuesday but I did manage to have a green beer and a Guinness. The Irish man in my liver was very satisfied with that.

Cheers!

As for today on Hump Day it's gonna be a crazy night due to the Empire season finale taking over my attention for 2 hours. Already hearing from pals about what they think is gonna happen and saw some preview clips to prepare myself for the heart punching train ride that is 2 hours long. I also just realized that I'm behind on Sirens as well...might be a TV catch-up type of night tonight.

Plus with March Madness getting underway, gotta get my non-college basketball craving filled before I indulge into the Madness for a month.

Along with a trip to the courts for a lovely afternoon workout...yeah Hump Day is going to be a Kick-Ass Day!

Now to handle some business.

Brooklyn, Brooklyn! (On Tap 154)

A much needed vacation up North.
Allo Hello! It's been a minute since my last post; well more than a minute...actually a week. The reason for my brief vacancy: I was on vacation mode and it was glorious. A lovely 5 hour-ish drive to the Empire State and enjoyed some college basketball, some lovely brews and beverages at the local Bier Hall and VCU hoisting up the silverware as the NEW A-10 Men's Basketball Champions!

Still have no voice. Worth It.

A very nice getaway indeed where I met and partied with new and familiar faces across Ram Nation and mentally was in a rambunctious version of heaven. From causing HAVOC in the Barclays Center to dancing on tables in celebration at the Bier Hall and going H.A.M. at the final buzzer when we realized that our boys have achieved the improbable! 4 straight games, 4 straight victories and our 1st A-10 Title!

#LetsGoVCU

Alas, the party was nonstop since Wednesday in the Empire State but unfortunately last call eventually happened and Monday has appeared awaiting our orders from the weekly menu. Feeling refreshed spiritually but drained physically and mentally from the activities...not even gonna put on a front; your boy is tired upon the alarm blaring "Monster" by Meek Mill. With the Monster inside me awaiting to come out and play this week, breakfast is needed pronto.

One thing that I can attest to: Don't Stop Believing. We as #5 seed in the A-10 Tournament won the whole thing; something that was NEVER done and deemed by many that could NEVER be done was DONE! Even with our best defender out, even when naysayers thought that we fell off and could not recover...look at us now.

This lesson can be taken off the hardwood as well: If you believe in yourself, work your ass off then you will be rewarded for it.

The rewards may come in an instant, others require more loading times. Either way, Don't. Stop. Believing. And Don't Stop Working. Ever.

Once your rewards finally ship to you, celebrate. You deserve it. Then after you finish popping that bottle and clean yourself up, get back at it. There's another reward out there awaiting you if you're up to the task.

Believe That!

Let's Get Monday Started.
In Here.

Hump Outta Your Mind!

So much on your mind? Let it out.
Allo Hello and what up Hump Day! Give me some dap over here. How you been man? It's been a week. What's Up With You?

Oh yeah...Whoop! Whoop!!

Another midpoint, another opportunity to shake, rattle and roll; while also making that money, money, money. That doesn't make you a ho? Haha. Whatever your occupation is today, make that money and don't let those work stressors infect your brain like my man up above in the pictorial.

Let whatever happens today happen people. Do the work required and if things don't go your way or you fall short of your objectives, relax. Things do get fucked up; it's life. When the clock reads clock-out time, unwind doing something that will help get things off your mind like a workout, a video game rage session, a stiff drink and your favorite recliner, a nap or whatever it is for your cooldown period that suits you.

Speaking of naps...man did I have a good one last night. Whew. Still feeling a tad on the sore side from soccer/cardio/strength training from the weekend and even tried out some yoga yesterday at the house. Downward Dog is my fav...ahhhhh....stretch everything haha.

Anywho, Hump Day must resume and I gotta keep spreading some happiness around the office.

Catch Y'all Later and remember...It's Hump Day!
Whoop! Whoop!

The Daily: + > -

For those that needed a scientific pictorial explanation haha.
Allo Hello! Another busy week unfolding for myself but just a daily reminder of the following:
Stay Positive, Live Unchained and Keep Moving Forward.

It can get quite tedious when you try to keep that proton smile afloat among a sea of neutrons and electrons swimming around in all of it's negativity while trying to draw you into the black as well. Times can get tough and things will also not go your way upon seeing the results; that doesn't mean you have to throw a temper tantrum like Detroit Lions fans going ballistic for letting Suh become a free agent.

Side Note: Seriously Detroit?? You're kind of stupid...

Anywho, let your positive charge cause a massive spark out in the world today; just like negativity affects people, so does positivity. So ignite someone with all that good juice.

Probably should start with yourself to make sure the circuit is working properly.

Have A Good One!
