A much needed vacation up North. |
Still have no voice. Worth It.
A very nice getaway indeed where I met and partied with new and familiar faces across Ram Nation and mentally was in a rambunctious version of heaven. From causing HAVOC in the Barclays Center to dancing on tables in celebration at the Bier Hall and going H.A.M. at the final buzzer when we realized that our boys have achieved the improbable! 4 straight games, 4 straight victories and our 1st A-10 Title!
#LetsGoVCU
Alas, the party was nonstop since Wednesday in the Empire State but unfortunately last call eventually happened and Monday has appeared awaiting our orders from the weekly menu. Feeling refreshed spiritually but drained physically and mentally from the activities...not even gonna put on a front; your boy is tired upon the alarm blaring "Monster" by Meek Mill. With the Monster inside me awaiting to come out and play this week, breakfast is needed pronto.
One thing that I can attest to: Don't Stop Believing. We as #5 seed in the A-10 Tournament won the whole thing; something that was NEVER done and deemed by many that could NEVER be done was DONE! Even with our best defender out, even when naysayers thought that we fell off and could not recover...look at us now.
This lesson can be taken off the hardwood as well: If you believe in yourself, work your ass off then you will be rewarded for it.
The rewards may come in an instant, others require more loading times. Either way, Don't. Stop. Believing. And Don't Stop Working. Ever.
Once your rewards finally ship to you, celebrate. You deserve it. Then after you finish popping that bottle and clean yourself up, get back at it. There's another reward out there awaiting you if you're up to the task.
Believe That!
Let's Get Monday Started.
In Here.
