It can get lonely out here. Yet you're never truly alone. |
A very interesting topic came up ironically yesterday for me; extra bonus for it constantly popping up like my text notifications throughout the day. From the church sermon to family talks to even my girlfriend along with it somehow rolling onto the pitch during my match: The word 'Alone'.
From my perspective I literally see, touch and deal with this topic on the daily basis. From social media to my front door step to even in my down time when trying to get away. What does it mean to truly be alone? According to my pastor's sermon yesterday morning, alone means that you have completely separated yourself from society, Meaning no friends, no family, no contact, nada, zilch, nothing.
News Flash: If that's truly how you live your life then yes you're completely alone; And probably need some serious help. Ladies and gentlemen, we are not alone. Just because you don't have a significant other or spouse or a BFF that does not mean the end of the world is straight at your front door.
Yes, there are times in life that you need to be left alone but to truly be alone in this world is a terrifying reality that even you don't want to picture.
Eventually you'll stumble upon a person that could turn out to be your partner in crime, the man/woman of your dreams or your Day 1 ride or die friend that's down to helping you become a better person. Just because none of these things are here and now does not mean if you keeping being yourself and stop mentally beating yourself up over the stuff that you don't have...maybe just maybe the things you want will come.
Blessings on Blessings on Blessings.
Various amounts of them throughout the day, so much that I can afloat in the deep end above my head.
Now that demons are controlled and we have a new week, let us rejoice and conquer what's at our feet.
Go Get Em!
