Mental 7

"Money can be an evil son of a b#@!h sometimes." -Kazie

So for this entry, I was looking back at my old poetry writings and thought about publishing one that didn't really hit mainstream. So I looked in my Mental series.

The Mental series hit me really close since these writings are really personal and involve my emotions, events, thoughts, and other things at the time of writing them. I don't usually let the public look at these but I'll show number 7 off.

If your curious, I have 17 of these. And counting. Enjoy. :)

The rays of the sun,
Warming up of skin.
Making me forget
What kind of hell I’m in.

Well, hell maybe too harsh.
Kind of like struggle.
The road to paradise,
Is an everlasting hustle.

Money is my bloodline,
I need it to survive.
People come and go,
But that green is my lifeline.

That’s what the world is,
Who’s got the most green?
And if your number 1,
Then you shall reign supreme.

I fell for the education B.S.
Go to school and you will be fine
Seeing that I’m still undecided
“Fine” is not what I would define.

Struggling to keep up,
Feeling like I’m a loser.
But I always look up,
Since well I’m technically cooler.

I’m a guy with a job.
And I like it as a bonus.
Rather be working here
Than dealing with dweebs named Jonas.

The job works my psych,
I’ve become cold.
When you first enter your warm,
But as you go, it begins to mold.

Everything starts to change,
Your body, your feelings.
Working nights don’t help either
As you try to find healings.

But the suffering is worth it.
Why? Because of the green.
As you go through changes,
Money makes it worth it.

Your social life minimizes,
And it will hit you…no lie.
Especially when friends gives invites
And you sadly decline.

In order to experience joy,
You must feel pain.
I have since day one,
And now…it’s time to gain.
