Start Your Classrooms!!!

"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down." -Mary Pickford

It's beautiful day out here...besides the hurricane coming this way and Steve Jobs stepping down from Apple, everything seems to be just peachy.

Oh, and besides college classes starting again.

Yes, it's that wonderful time of the year where young adults that graduated high school recently fear and the people that's been around the local campus parties here and there have all been waiting for! College classes started with a bang at and I'm not referring to the aftershocks felt all around the East Coast.

Some freshmen are starting a journey to find what they want to do for a career throughout the thousands of choices available at their local lecture halls and libraries. Take it from me...it can get a little overwhelming at first; but what's a journey without sights to be seen along the way?

Then there are the upper class batch of kids that are focusing on what they want on that fancy piece of paper known as a degree and working towards it. Some are having success, others have a few bumps in the road. But don't get sidetracked!!Nothing is easy...especially at the college level. Some professors give you more leeway...ridiculous amounts sometimes; it's because they aren't your parents. They want you to succeed (seriously) but they aren't going to pamper you like you are their firstborn...that's what your parents are for.

Keep up with your assignments, make sure you actually attend your classes (even if you are fighting a hangover after last night's party), take some time to study and your college experience should go a little more smoothly. That is until Finals where every person does daily CRAM sessions... Other than that, go get them As and maybe a few Bs!!

So for all those that are starting college up...I wish you the very best in whatever it is that you decided to do career-wise. Whether your a freshman looking for answers or a person working on your Masters, I wish you the best on your academic quest.

Hopefully there won't be any Level 40 Corrosive Brutes in your way. That's would just be odd...

Remember...in order to succeed, you gotta have the confidence along with the work to prove that you belong.

P.S. Make sure you also get away from the books for a little while during your semester...after all it is college. Enjoy yourself.
