Merry Christmas!

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! Enjoy it and don't go too crazy on the eggnog!

Actually...yeah why not...:)

Humping. It's A Thing.

Humping Around, Around We Go.
Gotta love Wednesday when Humping is involved.

Gifts, Gifts, and Gifts! Oh My!
Only a few more days until Christmas, and I still haven't finished my Shopping List. Fortunately, I'm not alone in this crazy time of the year of checking it twice, making decisions on who's naughty or nice, and making sure my wallet isn't empty after everything is wrapped up in gift wrap. Most of the pals I've already given gifts too has laughed and
loved them thus far...hoping
the streak continues!

DJ Reidiculous. And He Is Reidiculous.

Speaking of gifts, here's a musical one for y'all. As most people know, I'm a fan of dance/house remixes of songs that just sound ridiculous on the 1s and 2s. Enter DJ Reidiculous. I recently started listening to some of this guy's musical creations and I was blown away. He takes popular songs (and not so popular ones...) and turns them into musical dancing anthems that were born to groove to downtown at your local nightlife club. Did I also mention that his remixes are free via download? You're welcome. Enjoy the REIDICULOUSNESS! via DJ Reidiculous via Link!

And lastly this fine little pictorial message...

Viva La Hump Day To All! And To All More Humping!

Moving Forward (On Tap 91)

Arise like the morning sun to the heavens.
Hello Peeps. Welcome to another week of thrills, spills, and adventure.

Tragedy in Newtown

Unfortunately for the citizens of Newtown, Connecticut it has already been a hellacious week for them as we roll into Monday. The 20 kids and 6 adults that were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday was a shock to the small town of Newtown and the entire Nation as a whole. This deranged and severly mental person decided to take his life after killing 26 people in a place where it is suppose to be sacred ground; a place where parents send their kids to learn, play, and be nurtured. It was a very sad and sickening display of cowardness by this individual and the damage he brought onto families that will now have to spend Christmas without their loved ones will be difficult to bear. President Barack Obama even stated that this was the hardest situation he had to deal with as President of the United States as he spoke to the citizens of Newtown Sunday evening. My condolences and prayers go out to all of those that lost their loved ones on that tragic day and to the family, friends, and close ones of the victims that they will be able to get through this horrible time and get back on their feet.

In The Darkness, Light Will Take You To The Other Side.

In times of turmoil, despair, and eternal darkness, we as humans during these troubling times somehow are able to find the light at the end of the tunnel.  Yes, it is absolute hell going through it but as things start progressing, as things start panning themselves out, all of a sudden we start feeling the light warm us up a bit. At some points in life, you are gonna feel like you are trapped in your own personal darkness with no one around, no shelter to hide, and no air to breathe. But fear not...you are not alone and you can prevail.  You are capable of doing incredible things; rising from the ashes of defeat is one of them. Don't let a tragic moment in time define what you are. Take the necessary time and effort to grieve, rebuild, and recovery from the tragic; once you're ready to take on the world, you shall arise to your feet because you will not parish.

Tomorrow is never promised. Live today to the fullest.

Life can feel like a regular routine for us; so regular in fact that we believe that it's just a rotating circle that will never seem to end. Until that one fatal day actually becomes a reality. I'm not saying that you should live your life in fear...far from that statement. Instead, live every single day like it's your last in a sense.  Pretty sure that was a song lyric from some musical number...but anyways. Enjoy life each day and keep the bad shit at bay.  We really don't know what's next in the afterlife...hell, we aren't sure if this is our last life to live before we depart. But I know one thing...everyone should live it and enjoy it. Love the people that you associate with, do things and enjoy the company of family and friends, the random moments of joy and lol's around town and beyond state lines. This is our lives that we live, don't stress 'em. Enjoy them.

That's all from me today on this Monday. Enjoy yours as I sure as hell will with mine. Even if I do have to work while running on insomniac mode today. That's what Gatorade is for lol.

Love Yo Faces.
Enjoy Your Week.

91...!

God has called them all home. For those of us who remain, let us find the strength to carry on and make our country worthy of their memory.

-Barack Obama

A Letter.

To the ones that saw my first breaths,
To the people that think I had potential,
To the ones that looked up to me,
To the ones that knocked me down a few kegs,
To the moments that tested my patience,
To the moments that raised my joy,
To the moments that shed my tears,
To the moments that left me breathless & reckless,
To the people that I drafted to my team,
To the people I kicked out of my league,
To the ones that stabbed me,
To the ones that spat on my face,
To the ones that thought I was a nobody,
To the ones that rode my pigtails,
To the ones that hate but don't congratulate,
To the ones that I have broken,
To the ones that I have loved,
To the ones that I raise up,
To the ones that I inspire,
To the ones that helped create me,
To the ones that modified my software,
To the moments that upgraded my armor,
To the ones that were on my side since day 1,
To the ones that have come and gone,
To the ones that I just met and joined the game,
To the ones that are away but still connect,
To the moments that I thought would end me,
To the moments that forever changed me,
To the things that left me in awe,
To the things that left me saying WTF,
To the ones that believe that this is just the beginning,
To the ones that believe that this is where I will stop,
To the ones that believe that the sky is the limit,
To the ones that believe that the sky will fall.

Thanks.
Thanks For Everything.

Humping Around.

Wednesday. The 3rd Day of the week.
Also known for humping. Lots of it.

Raise the Bass. It makes you Healthy.

I'm a BIG music lover. Lover all kinds of music; well except gospel...that can sit on the shelf. Anyway, I was talking to a co-worker of mine and we were chit chatting about our music favs and then he brought up how music is good for the health. Learning about how music can actually be a health necessity was interesting. Here's some neat facts about music and it's bassful effects on your body.

-Music can enhance reading and literacy skills
-Causes physical relaxation and stress reduction
-Music causes the body to release endorphins to counteract pain.
-Helps migraine and chronic headaches by reducing the intensity, duration, and frequency of the pain.
-Great for memory exercise for brain activities.

Want more cool facts? Here's a Link To More...Music, It's Good For You.
Basically, instead of grabbing that bottle of aspirin, grab a pair of headphones and turn up the music.

Jump Into Friendships.

Friendships: Something simple yet very complicated. I'm fortunate to have a couple of these with some awesome people and they somehow put up with me so it's a win-win. You might be having a bad day and all you need is one of your friends to do something stupid to forget about it. That's what friends are for right? A true friend is there for you to give you a laugh, a hug if you need one after a bad situation, someone that you can act stupid with and be normal, and just make you feel ahh-mazing. Also...friends are good for your health! Well unless they piss you off...then they can become a biohazard. Hopefully the biohazards happen less often...but yeah friendships.

Go get you some.

Happy Viva La Hump Day Peeps! Enjoy Your Wednesday and the rest of your week!

Up and At 'Em! (On Tap 90)

Time For Another Week of Adventure.
What Up people of the interwebs! I have returned from a little vacation of typing, posting, and other ing things on this little blog here. Been quite busy the last few days for myself but I did enjoy every second of it; however I missed waking up in the morning, having some OJ or Cider, and booting up the laptop and just type type type away. Ok...too emotional for an intro...let's get into it!

Mission Accomplished: Almost.

I'm now under a week away from graduating from college; pretty big accomplishment for this little guy here. So much that my family and friends are getting more excited than me haha. But yeah...spent years getting up to this point and it is inching closer and closer. Kind of bittersweet honestly; don't get me wrong...happy that I will be walking but I'm gonna miss the daily hustle running around campus to get to class. Gonna take some getting use to actually having free time for once...weird haha.

Seize Your Opportunities.

I can honestly say with a straight face that I do the following headline on almost the daily basis now. For example, at my job we've been short staffed and my bosses had some extra time available if I wanted it. Of course having more money is not a bad decision to be made even if I do have to work between 30-40 hours that week; totally worth it in the end. People must learn to adapt to situations that have stepped into and see what rewards rely within them. Opportunities pop up here and there and most people don't even realize that it is there until it is too late or they're just too lazy to even pick 'em up.  From your job to the home to even the gym or a restaurant while your sipping on beverage of choice, look around. There may be an opportunity of choice staring right back at you.

MotiTunes!

So I've been on some sort of hip hop kick the past couple of weeks. And not that mainstream BS that has been infected speakers with YOLO, Soulja Boy, and 28s and other crap...I've listened to some 90's rap and shuffling through the classics. Then I started listening to Xzibit's Napalm (his newest album) and I was very impressed with it since he hasn't spit in a few years. Was such a fan of 1983 that I tweeted a lyric and he actually retweeted! (Awesomeness!)

Only the strong live long, you better settle in.
I'm fighting forever, I will never let the devil win.

Recommend a listen highly. So much so that I'll give you a link right over here: 1983

Another song I may have put on repeat...a lot...was 50 Cent's new song "My Life" featuring Adam Levine and Eminem.  Saw the music video for it and was instantly a fan of the song; another trip to the iTunes store was in order haha. Loved the beat, lyrics, and the video as a whole was well produced. Here's a link to My Life...video wise.

Should be a fun week ahead. Feeling fatigued a little bit after a few matches I had over the weekend along with stomping and yelling at the Stu; all in a good fun though. As always...the fancy PhillyD reference applies here.

Love Yo Faces.
Have a Great Monday and Week!

90...!

I'm doing what I'm supposed to
I'm a writer, I'm a fighter, entrepreneur.
Fresh off the sewer, watch me maneuver, what's it to you?
The track I laced it, it's better than basic.
This is my recovery, my comeback.
