So RVA got hit with a severe storm that changed into a tornado warning and caused some damage all around central VA. Heavy rain and extreme winds threw some trees around and caused a lot of power outages all over.
This was a curve-ball that came out of nowhere. Literally, it was around 90 degrees with the sun out and blue skies then all of sudden we see this.
More than 136,000 residents didn't have power but fortunately that number has gone down to 80,000 since this morning. Still...that's very unfortunate that this has happened.
I'm fortunate that I was able to recover my power last evening. Wishing everyone that was affected by this storm nothing but the best and hopefully power will be restored to your homes soon.
It was even crazier at night all around town due to the traffic lights being out, debris on the interstates, and a few bad car accidents along the road. Plus with it being pitch black, seriously felt as if I was driving around in a ghost town. No houses lit up, no stores open, and all you can see literally is the road in front of you headlights.
Tuesday should be a better day for the citizens of RVA. Prayers sent to all of you; Stay safe out there.

A storm will knock down some stuff temporarily.
Just don't let the storm knock you down permanently.
