Ol' My Liver... (On Tap 151)

Way better than last year's Super Bowl. By Far!

Allo Hello my friends! If you're like me this morning that joined in the drinking/partying fiasco know as Super Bowl Weekend or just the Weekend in general...happy Monday morning to you and your liver.

Hey. It needs love too. She partied hard.

My oh my. What a weekend in sports and booze; lots and lots of sports and booze. From the Stu to the Ville all the way to Arizona, if you were a sports fanatic and a social drinker this was your 3-Day sanctuary. 

Sadly at the Stu, VCU was defeated by the University of Henrico and what was worse is that quite possibly my favorite Ram of All-Time Briante Weber tore his ACL and MCL in front of a sold-out crowd. All of Ram Nation was devastated to hear the news that his collegiate career was over with just a few steals close to breaking the NCAA All-Time steals record. That really is heart-wrenching but one thing is for sure...it's not over. Not for Bri and most certainly not for VCU. 

When adversity comes your way, you can either let it consume you or kick it's ass and conquer it. I believe that VCU will do Option B. Just watch. And you can bet for sure that Briante is gonna be the loudest in the arena cheering his boys on.

If you come in contact with adversity today, don't let it manipulate you. Keep your calm and open a can of whoop ass!

Other than that, the weekend was spot on. Literally, I had a beverage called "Spot On". I don't know what it was or what was in but yeah...the name described it perfectly. From karaoking with friends while getting that sour taste of Gin out of my mouth Friday thru the Super Bowl party of the year with some good BBQ and drinks...my liver needs a vacation. And my stomach.

Alas, Monday is here and even though I'm still feeling some sort of way about her, she is pretty. Although she can be bitchy on certain weeks, I still got love for her and all of the people that I encounter today.

And if you're Patriots fan, clean yourself up and put the beer down. You got work to do.

Today, I will wreak HAVOC upon anything standing in my way.
