"I've come to believe that all my past failure and frustration were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I now enjoy." -Anthony Robbins
So I've had a very busy day today...and felt very frustrated after all the major events took place.
What?!?! Kazie frustrated? NO WAY!!!
Hey it happens to everyone kids. I'm not a God, I have bad days as well.
Mine involved taking multiple exams back to back while balancing a way to study for a future one that I have in about 14 hours from now actually (7:34 pm= now). While also treating my wounded shoulders and arms which have been going off the deep end lately. Add to fact that my friends wanted to me to go out but I couldn't due to the fact I have to study kind of pissed me off. And to top it off, my college ID got stolen. Yeah, it's been one of those days where I just wanted to yell profanities at the next person I come in contact with.
Whew! Now I feel much better. Wait. What just happened?
Ladies and gentlemen I give you a way to release your frustration. Releasing what's on your chest that's making it suck and then you feel a little more relieved. Some people do this and don't even realize it; remember when you had a bad day and you told your friend about it? And suddenly you started feeling a tad bit better just by getting that stuff out of ya.
Now of course, some people (like me) like to keep things that REALLY piss you off locked in right next to your empty locker next to your brain for a period of time. Sometimes that works but the majority of the time it gets worse due to the fact of time traveling by and then your still thinking about it which leads you to get more pissed until you finally release it like a nuke hitting the surface and taking everything out in one swoop.
May I suggest trying one of these recommended ways to release your frustration:
- Video Games Are Your Friends: Grab a controller and pop in Modern Warfare 2. You get to release your anger by shooting people online or offline after having a bad day. I really think some people have this game just as a stress reliever. What better way to release bad energy than with an M4 carbine with fall camo as you go to town trying to unlock your own personal attack helicopter to reign supreme! Plus sports game like FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K11, Fight Night, UFC Unleashed and such are good as well...who doesn't like yelling at refs and players? Now Go play a video game!
- Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut!: Not a gamer? Then grab some gloves. Boxing is another great way to release havoc after a busy day. Plus your working out your body in the process. Sway! Jab! Lean! Right Hook! Combo! Counter! You gotta stick and move. Can't find a partner? Then just shadowbox. Basically act like your in a ring and just practice jabs and uppercuts and other combos. Who would have thought anger would lead to a leaner and more muscular you huh? Just don't hit me with your nasty right hook OK?
- Scream!: Plain and simple. Take in a breath and scream as loud as you can. Sure you might break a mirror or two but you will feel way better. Let's try: Breathe in, HOLD IT! (Wait for it....WAIT for it...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!) Much better.
Now these are just my top 3 suggestions. But there is a variety of things to release that bad mojo in your gut. Try multiple ways and see which way makes you feel more awesome. Or do multiple ones so that you just feel 120% the next day.But frustration happens people. It's serious. We gotta get that out of there...life's to short to focus on crap that makes us turn sour.AAAAHHHH!! Whoa...think that one scared my neighbors.

"I'm in bad shape physically but mentally if I stay positive then that's all that matters."
Fancy title with a simple meaning.
Basically it's motivations from my life experiences in this (and future) entries on this blog with this title on it. All things, persons, events, and other things mentioned in these ARE REAL.
No joking, no bulls*@t, all facts. So let's get started with the 1st entry, shall we?!?!
Here we go.
So I was casually walking down a hospital (because I work at one) after doing a few tests and such that my management wanted me to get done since I was already on the clock. On my way back down to the Emergency Department, I came back to my area to show that I returned from testing.
The person was filling in for me was at my desk working and said she would be a few mins then would head back upstairs. So I decided to go to the bathroom to burn a few mins while emptying my gas tank in the process. After that episode (yes, I cleaned my hands), I went back to strolling the halls.
That is until I saw one of the patient's at this end of the hall. He was a male I would say that looks around early 30s maybe later. But he was badly banged up from head to toe in every sense of this commonly used phrase. Broken legs, mangled arms, hands look like they went through grinders, and his face maimed. The guy was in rough shape...I was mind blown.
And this is coming from a guy that has worked in the hospital for about 3+ years.
Yet even through whatever this man has been through, he saw me and said, "Hello, young man." in the most cheerful way. Not like that fake "Hello" with extra sass and full of false hope...but it was with feeling and cheerfulness. Of course, being curious and polite, answered back and talked to him for a little bit about random things. Then he said this, "I'm in bad shape physically but mentally if I stay positive then that's all that matters."
I would have gave this man a high-five after saying that but he was in too much pain. Plus my relief was probably thinking that the bathroom is occupied for the next hour or so.
But that quote is spot on. Physically, your body can suck, some parts aren't in working condition, or it could be out of commission all together. The physicality is just one part of the machine; it's what's inside the engine that keeps this thing moving. You can have the most bad-ass looking car with the greatest paint job in the world that every time you curve a corner...everybody watching jizzes their pants while they are looking for their mouths since they dropped them as you put your foot on the gas. However, if that car of awesomeness has an engine from 1967 that hiccups every 50 meters...might as well be driving a minivan down the street instead.
Don't focus everything on your physical buildup; You gotta give upgrades to your mental health to. Yes, no one is always happy. I know that firsthand and so should you since we all have bad days. But we get over those, move on, and become happy again. In order to survive, you gotta have the mental capacity to get over your current situation and or past ones that you think have a grudge on your existence. Get over that bridge, burn it down with flamethrower, and build a new one that will lead to a happier you.
It's not an overnight procedure either. It takes time, no quick fixes found here. For some it takes a little while, especially depending on the situations involved here. But the main point here is to focus on being happy mentally.
Yeah having muscles on your body physically is nice.
If you have a bad heart, they will soon turn back to mush.
Being mentally strong is the first step to finding your happy.

"The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed." -Buddha
Never give up.
Never say "I Quit."
Never doubt yourself.
Never lose hope.
Never pretend.
Never say "I Can't."
Never throw in the towel.
Never go down for the count.
Never underachieve.
Never settle for less.
Never fear.
Never break.
Never choke.
Never crack.
Never say die.
But always achieve.

"You cannot run from this- it will follow you. It may lay dormant for years. Something may trigger it to become more active and it may over time reach out to communicate with you." -The Psychic, Paranormal Activity
So my friends and I decided to go to a midnight showing of Paranormal Activity 2. I'm not really a fan of movies that attempt to scare me or make me jump out of my seat...unless they do a really good job of doing it of course.
Which lead me to this random thought of mind: People need a little bit of freight in order to have fun.
Let me explain...this thought has something to do with our current holiday around the corner which just so happens to be Halloween. The time of year where people go find a costume from vampires to zombies to Little Red Riding Hoods to french maids and have a good time spreading dread and fear around the dark, grim streets on Halloween night.
Fun right? OF COURSE IT IS!
I've yet to find someone that doesn't like dressing up and going to neighbors houses dressed up as Freddy, Micheal Myers, or any member of the walking dead for free candy and a good time! Especially kids...kids do love free candy. Mmmm...Snickers and Milky Ways.
Even teens and young adults get in the action on the 31st. Hosting house costume parties with everything from hippies to ballerinas to Wolfman. Tunes blasting, dancing the night away while doing the Thriller dance for the 12th time that night. It never gets old.
Halloween is great because we basically act like alter-egos and spread fear to those that we come in contact with and they usually give a good scream or chuckle, not the regular mean grin or evil eye if it was a regular Wednesday morning.
Whether you like leaving blood on glasses, spiders in the fruit punch bowl, or a human limb on someone's shoulder...fear is great, especially when it's good clean fun with the local Ghostbusters unit on Main St.
Enjoy your Halloween Folks!!! Watch out for that zombie coming out the pipes...no seriously, it's gonna grab your leg.
P.S. Paranormal Activity 2 was meh...good movie with a weak ending and some Holy Shnikes! moments that will have you freak out like a adolescent teenager on Prom Night. :)

“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.” -Unknown
You know that feeling you get when your driving around and all of a sudden your local radio station starts to play one of your favorite songs and then your crank up the bass and keep on driving even though you already past your stop about 10 mins ago?
Yeah...that's the power of music.
Music can heal almost any wounds that you have from your daily grind. Whether your style is poppy lyrics with a hit of 80's flair or heavy guitar riffs and a singer screaming bloody murder to even listening to rhythmic instrumentals, music can satisfy anybody.
If you feel down and just need a little splash of happiness, crank it up to 11 and being taken away to your musical sanctuary.
Your loving spirit will thank me later.

"If you have stage fright, it never goes away. But then I wonder: is the key to that magical performance because of the fear?" -Stevie Nicks
Show No Fear...What's the worse that can happen?
OK. Before you think of 20+ reasons of what can happen to you in the next few minutes I want you to shove those negative thoughts straight up where the sun don't even think about shining and be positive while reading this little rant of mine.
People should not be afraid in this life because there is so much out here for you to indulge in to keep you happy and care-free. Friends, events, concerts, video games, guitar solos, even reading a book can keep your mind at easy without thinking that your world is gonna end every 30 seconds.
Of course we as human beings have to look toward our futures because we want everything to be absolutely perfect when we get to a certain age. We gotta get good grades cause that will give us that 7 figure job that will buy that brand new mansion made out of gold brick with platinum flooring and a badass laser security system to protect our wife that models for Victoria's Secret on occasion while taking care of our perfect kids.
Ladies and gents I hate to break it to you but this dream will happen to only 0.02% of the population on this Earth....sorry to shatter your dreams.
But as long as you make an effort and stop worrying about not always getting things right the first time, you will be fine. So what if your not book-smart enough to be a doctor? That doesn't mean that your life is sentenced to running through trash cans to get your next meal.
STOP STRESSING!!!
Keep the stress and fear at a minimal...as long as you don't be lazy and try to make good out of yourself and try to accomplish your goals then the fear should disintegrate like a package of C4. Set up some goals that you believe that you can accomplish and live the way YOU want to live life...don't let anyone tell you how to LIVE YOUR OWN DAMN LIFE!
The world is your playground, go play on the swingset next to the 600 foot waterslide and enjoy yourself!!!

“Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.” - Winston Churchill
Hey people!!
It's a rainy day in the neighborhood here, but I still got a smile on my face. Here's a few tips for you on your quest to an awesome day and even more awesome you.- Release Your Energy: In order to be happy, ya gotta have energy!!! Find something today that will keep you on your toes and focused while making you happy at the same time. Things like a trip to the gym, cooking in the kitchen, drawing, or YouTube random funny vids can be a boost to your happiness.
- Don't Overdo Your Workload: I can say firsthand that multitasking is great; but sometimes it is a bad thing trying to handle 40 important things at the same time. Take a breath and focus on doing one thing then heading towards the next so that just in case you screw something up you can easily fix it. Make a to-do list and go by it one by one...trust me, it will save a few headaches today.
- Make Room For Your Empty Stomach: Grr....what was that? It was your stomach. Don't skip lunch today cause your body will hate you for the rest of day. EAT!!! If you can't make enough time in your busy schedule for a lunch break, be sure to have a few drinks or snacks handy....and make sure you have a napkin if you pig out. I can see the honey mustard stain on your shirt from here.
- Reward Your Success: Now I don't mean buy yourself a new BMW z4 for pete's sake. (If you can afford that, can you give me one?) But for all your hard work today, treat yourself to something nice like a chocolate sundae or a trip to the massage parlor or even a beer with friends at the local pub at the end of a long day. Kick you feet up and just chill; You deserve it.
Follow these tips and you should be on your way to feeling great while accomplishing some of your goals. That's the blueprint...now get out there and do great things today!
Ready...BREAK!!!

"True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost." -Charles Caleb Colton
Let's face it...your gonna meet someone in this world.
No beating around the bush about it. There are over 10 gazillion people around this revolving rock and in this gigantic population you are bound to find some people that are interested in you and want to be your friend.
This is a great thing called "friendship". My definition of a friendship is two people enjoying each others company and having common interests or experiences with each other in a positive way. To dumb it down to simple terms, two people that have fun being around each other.
Now there are some "fake friendships" out here. These are the ones you gotta look out for because these involve scumbags that don't care about you as a person but care about something on you (money, cars, a job, etc). Don't associate with these cause you will just get heartbroken at the end if they find what they want from you and leave you on the side of the road like yesterday's trash on Route 5.
But for the "friendships" that last a lifetime these are great for the human spirit as a whole. It's almost like a prescription of medicine at your local pharmacist that refills whenever your around friends. Friends can make you forget about how crappy your day was and make it unforgettable and joyous at the end of the night.
And guess what? It can happen on multiple occasions!!! You can experience complete ecstasy of happiness again and again and again...and it's legal!
Friends are part of everyone. Even if you don't think you have friends or will even associate yourself with another human being...it's gonna happen and this is a good thing!!! Friends can keep you sane...at certain moments...and make your life more meaningful and joyous at the same time.
You don't really need to make an attempt to start a friendship, it's sort of natural in a sense, but for true friendships to last...some work has to be made towards that to have it last forever. And that's better than any pleasure from prescription of ibuprofen or banana bag can provide.
Well a banana bag can come quite handy...just kiddin'.
Make a friend today on Aisle 17! :P

"I’m doin’ me, I’m doin ME. I’m livin’ life right now, mayne and this what I’ma do ’til it’s over,‘til it’s over. But it’s far from over….." -Drake
In this society of ours, it's pretty easy for people to lose themselves to newest fads and trends. Just go outside and there is basically advertising for everything from the latest gadget that has a 7G network and 5 GPS's to the newest piece of silk that would go great with your new $75 pair of suede heels.
Most people think that things like these make them have eternal happiness but news flash...within the next 24 hours something new pops up and now you got "old" equipment that obsolete and no longer cool. STOP!
Instead of trying to keep up with the latest and greatest, which is impossible, do you.
Now how do you "do you"? Well here is a few pointers...
- Don't try to be like anyone else: It's okay to have idols but there is only one you. You gotta go out there and make a path for yourself in order to define what kind of person you want to be seen and remembered as. Hundreds of people will come and go in your life...make a good impression. Do you really want to be seen as a 400 pound slob that does nothing but make paper airplanes out of 2 year old newspapers in the middle of Central Park? Yeesh...nightmares just thinking about that.
- Find what makes you...YOU: Are you creative? Do you like having fun by making others laugh? Is making computer programs your passion? Questions like these and actions towards answering them can make you much more passionate about life in general when you have something that you love doing at all times. Finding a passion can keep your head above the rocky waters...especially on those days where you feel worthless.
- Surround yourselves with +'s: People will betray you...it is a fact. Some people just don't want see others succeed; Get those scumbags out of your routine ASAP! You need to be surrounded with a good aura of positive energy not some douchebags from your local slums.
- Have some alone time...not 24/7: Now I know that some people that like being alone, there is nothing wrong with that but this could cause future problems with a lack of a social life, not being involved in a relationship, or even conquering all your goals and not having someone to share them with. We all need some time to ourselves but you also need some time to just be around other people doing things like wildin' out at a karaoke bar, playing video games to see who's the best at what, a girl's night out to their favorite salon, or even just poppin' a few bottles with friends and just chill.
I want people not to just try to be a carbon copy of a Brad Pitt, Miley Cyrus, Bruce Willis, Hallie Berry, Denzel Washington, Will Smith; they already have been made.
In order to make yourself, you have to do you...nobody else.
