A Motivational Alternative

Within

"You can't live fully on the outside if you keep punching yourself in the face on the inside" -Kazie

Another Day, Another Poem, Another Motivation.

If I could start from scratch, I wouldn't change for you.

I'd still be the heartless bastard you're accustomed to.

The one you go for hugs but hands out shrugs,

Same cold stare that breaks coffee mugs.

Same profanities spit, same arguments had.

Except I would turn it up to double your mad.

If I could turn back the waters of time,

I would save that souls popped by the nine.

Blood boiling in my veins up to 100+ degrees

It’s a miracle that I haven’t killed you yet.

Hatred has been between us since day 1,

No change to come with the rise of the sun.

The pain and mistake of my horrific past,

Violence, anger, and depression on blast.

We went through it all…thought you were an ally.

You stabbed me in the back and left me for dead.

I was crippled and done, you made one mistake.

You left me breathing instead of leaving me cold.

That 1% you left me, the lasting second of life.

Probably thought I would go out that day alone.

Rising from the ashes and crawling towards the light.

There was no way I was gonna die this night.

I’ve come for vengeance, and I will win.

For the hell you cause me…I just grin.

We use to be like inmates that got caught with dope.

Fighting to find a way out for the better and together.

Well someone tried to ice me and become the leader.

Unfortunately for him, he dropped the soap.

Now the future is here.

No rewind button or magic erase button.

Your mission was a failure and you’re out of continues,

Now it’s my turn to end you.

Thinking as if you were my companion,

You were full of lies, blasphemy, and scamming.

The battle within my core is over.

Doubt…I will be the last man standing.

Mental 7

"Money can be an evil son of a b#@!h sometimes." -Kazie

So for this entry, I was looking back at my old poetry writings and thought about publishing one that didn't really hit mainstream. So I looked in my Mental series.

The Mental series hit me really close since these writings are really personal and involve my emotions, events, thoughts, and other things at the time of writing them. I don't usually let the public look at these but I'll show number 7 off.

If your curious, I have 17 of these. And counting. Enjoy. :)

The rays of the sun,
Warming up of skin.
Making me forget
What kind of hell I’m in.

Well, hell maybe too harsh.
Kind of like struggle.
The road to paradise,
Is an everlasting hustle.

Money is my bloodline,
I need it to survive.
People come and go,
But that green is my lifeline.

That’s what the world is,
Who’s got the most green?
And if your number 1,
Then you shall reign supreme.

I fell for the education B.S.
Go to school and you will be fine
Seeing that I’m still undecided
“Fine” is not what I would define.

Struggling to keep up,
Feeling like I’m a loser.
But I always look up,
Since well I’m technically cooler.

I’m a guy with a job.
And I like it as a bonus.
Rather be working here
Than dealing with dweebs named Jonas.

The job works my psych,
I’ve become cold.
When you first enter your warm,
But as you go, it begins to mold.

Everything starts to change,
Your body, your feelings.
Working nights don’t help either
As you try to find healings.

But the suffering is worth it.
Why? Because of the green.
As you go through changes,
Money makes it worth it.

Your social life minimizes,
And it will hit you…no lie.
Especially when friends gives invites
And you sadly decline.

In order to experience joy,
You must feel pain.
I have since day one,
And now…it’s time to gain.

If It All Ended Tomorrow

"I live how I wanna live. Buy what I wanna buy. Do what I wanna do. Try What I wanna try. Fear nothin, take chances. Not afraid to fail, always makin advances." -John Cena

So I was randomly listening to my music library and John Cena's song "If It All Ended Tomorrow" popped up randomly. And then I was inspired to write this...live your life people since it can be gone in an instant.

What would you do if it all ended tomorrow?

Time runnin’ out, ain’t no more you can borrow.

So many paths, which one you gonna follow?

What would you do, What would you do?

A question with multiple answers.

No one’s response would be exactly the same.

The cause of death is not needed,

Whether car crash, poisoned, or lung cancer.

You only had about 24 hours left of your life.

No more lifelines or pleas for more time.

I definitely wouldn’t lock myself in a room.

And waste time in my bed wanting to cry.

Something like this people think is unreal.

I don’t think anyone has this planned I feel.

Since it’s just out of the ordinary and not expected

Plus this type of scenario is highly unaccepted.

What if your friends lost you?

Your place in your family portrait gone for good.

Co-workers moving on with the workload.

And others forget you ever exist?

That’s not a good feeling is it?

Kind of makes you ill just thinking about it.

Don’t live life like a modern cesspool

Arrogant, stiff, and a just another total tool.

Life is short so mark it today.

Try living it with no worries and your head held high.

Be creative, don’t care about others opinions.

It’s your life, others are just locked in for the ride.

Do what you do, live how you want live.

The media might try to make you seem like a total zero.

All negatives can become positives.

Especially when people see you as a hero.

Life is taken lightly, people think it lasts awhile.

Taking it in financially but not emotionally.

It’s not about what your money can get you,

If that’s the answer then you’ll be mentally unhappy.

Will you sore to high places or crash in dumps?

And become another mistake with a big lump.

Or will you take what you have and race to finish.

While others crash and run and gun into stumps.

If you lived your life, you will have multiple memories.

Some might be greater than others.

Yeah there might a few rotten ones here and there.

Sweep those under the rug next to the strands of hair.

I know I’m an arrogant fool. Not the baddest or coolest.

But I’m living my life beyond the speeding limit.

Yeah, I might have a bad day here and there.

Just shake it off, recover, and smile without care.

Life’s a bitch. There’s no denying that.

But it’s fun if you enjoy it and live it everyday.

Enjoy it, make friends, inspire and other will follow.

Because you never know if it will actually end it tomorrow.

Human Error

"A small error in the former will produce an enormous error in the latter." -Henri Poincare

Everyone on this rock is human,

Which means everyone isn’t perfect.

We all make an error or two,

And most don’t recognize what to do.

There are multiple options on the future of the mistake,

Some are good alternatives while others may cost you.

It’s important to man up when an error is made,

Or else coming to your door could be tears, pain, and shame.

Error can cause drama and many sorts of interesting dilemmas

You would think another World War just erupted from the ashes.

But they have a mental effect on everyone involved,

And whoever made it, it’s on their hands to quickly solve.

Don’t hide in fear or hide under the rug,

Or look at it and give a mediocre shrug.

Grow some nuts and try to correct what you’ve done

If you ignore it, odds are you will regret what’s to come.

I'm Not Fat, I'm Active!

"An active mind cannot exist in an inactive body." -General George S. Patton

Put down the turkey leg. Hey! I said put it down!

How are you gonna lose those pounds off you want gone if your not even motivated enough to move off the couch while eating a double cheeseburger combo from the local fast food joint. Gah..that does sound good right now.

But back to the point...one of the most common resolutions when a new year has come involves the following: losing some amount of weight. Now some people are able to accomplish their goal successfully while others struggle with it all year long. Fortunately I'm here to give a helping hand when you go back to the scales to see you're awesome results!

  • Don't Overdo It!!!
You are not a fancy exotic sports car when it comes to working out and losing the pounds; Don't act like it now. With dedication and work, the pounds will eventually go away but if you overdo your workout routine then your body can suffer in a negative way.

By whatever you mean? Well back pain, swollen knees, torn hamstrings, athlete's foot and other body malfunctions could be in your future if you decided to try to become the next Arnold Schwarzenegger of body and fitness. Just take your time.

  • Target What YOU Want Gone.
When you have a specific area or body part that you want changed, you are starting to go in the right direction. If you want to have a complete body makeover then go for it! However if you just want a slimmer stomach or buffer arms or firmer bootius maximus then do workout routines specifically targeting those areas for quicker and more defined results.

It's okay to be gym retarded. Here's a few sites that I personally use for more info on nutrition tips and routines to help you look more awesome.
-Muscle & Fitness - My personal favorite with exercises and nutrition tips.
-ABC of Fitness- A variety of exercises tutorials that show you how to do them correctly.
-Food Fit- Healthy recipes and alternatives without all those calories.

  • The World is Your Gym
This means that the gym is not the only place where you can lose weight. There's the local basketball courts, DDR Arcades, sidewalks, even your job! Multiple venues can host your weight lost progress. Yes, the gym is a good place to go but you can spice it up with mixing it up like going to the gym to work on your arms one day then taking a light jog outside the next.

Mix and match your routine can also effect your results positively as well. If you just do the same old thing over and over and over and over...then your not really doing anything but just pressing the reset button numerous times.

Play a game of DDR, workout at the gym, light jog, practicing boxing combos. That would be one of my many workout routines. I like doing a variety of things to keep myself active and such...do it!

  • This Is a Mental AND Physical Game
As much as losing weight drains you physically it does almost double that amount on your brain. Especially if your looking for everything to be lost in the first few workouts. Usually people start to lose a significant amount of weight at first then it slowly stops; this is of course where people starting to get frustrated and quit and regain all the weight back by stuffing their tears into a XXL ice cream bowl.

You just gotta keep a clear head, focus on your goal, and go through with it. Plus, you need to have fun while doing what your doing. Listening to music, watching TV, or talking/working out with a friend. There's so many add-ons to your workout that can make it more fun and enjoyable.

Just remember to keep your brain on and happy. I don't want it going downhill!

Well, that's my tips for you for obtaining one of your possible many resolutions for 2011. Have fun, lose weight, and stay active!

Oh yea...your not fat, you just ACTIVE!!
You can DO IT!!! ;)
